The Chronicles of Miami is a documentary film that follows renowned artist JR in the creation of one of his largest murals to date. In just 10 days, 1,000 city residents and visitors had their portraits taken in JR’s mobile studio. JR’s studio, set up inside a 53-foot-long truck, visited eight different neighborhoods throughout Miami, including Wynwood, Little Haiti, Design District, Downtown, Liberty City, and Coconut Grove. Anyone who passed by was invited to have their portrait taken. The mural brings to life a snapshot of this evolving city and a transformative moment in time. Watch now.
